Upon opening the box i noticed how nice and rich the paint was looked very nice. the only reason it got 4 stars instead of five is because if you look really close at the edges you can see some imperfections on the finish work before they painted. On the other hand i was very impressed with the hardware, I was prepared to throw it out but its definitely as good as it gets. They used 4-40 ball links and hardware along with carbon fiber control horns. The cowel is the lightest I have seen and very flexible without wrecking the paint. The control surfaces are almost "cartoon" with how much deflection they have. Downside, there is no way to get a tuned pipe between the gear and the wingtube (kind of like composite arf). The manufacturer is being notified about the minor issues and hopefully the next one that rolls out will be 5 stars. upside, It doesn't fly like the other composite planes I have had in the past, this little plane is very 3d capable and I would put it up against any other 3d plane its size!!
